TV Shows and Movies

Where you can find reviews of old and new tv shows and movies.

Twelve O'Clock High was an ABC TV shows that ran for three seasons from 18th of September 1964 to 13th of January 1967. It was based in the 1949 motion picture of the same name. The series follows the missions of the 918th Heavy Bombardment Group stationed at Archbur England during World War II. Part of the 8th Bomber Command of the US Eighth Air Force. Army Air Force Brigadier General Frank Savage is asked to take over the 918th by General Pritchard. Savage is a tough as nails commander and builds the Group into the "best bomb group" in Eighth Air Force.

At the start of the 2nd season, Savage is killed and Colonel Joseph Anson Gallagher takes over for the next two Seasons. The 918th resumes combat operations, and Savage continues to earn everyone's enmity with his blistering post-mission critiques. However, the airmen and pilots begin
to change their minds after he leads them on a mission in which the 918th was the only group to strike the target and all of the aircraft made it back safely.
